Our Housing Problem-Solving Program is designed to help individuals facing housing instability find immediate solutions and long-term stability. Whether you're facing eviction, staying with friends or family who may ask you to leave, or concerned about finding a safe place to stay, this program connects you with a dedicated Housing Resource Specialist. These professionals work with you one-on-one to assess your situation, explore available resources, and develop a personalized plan to prevent homelessness. By offering support and guiding you to local services, the program empowers you to overcome housing challenges and secure a safe, stable living situation.

Applications open at 9 AM every Tuesday and are highly limited. If selected, you will receive a phone call, text, or email from Make-A-Day within 48 hours. If you're not selected or if we are at capacity, please try again next Tuesday.

Please note that you must:

  • Live in Franklin County

  • Be at risk of homelessness (currently homeless? Seek resources here)

  • Not have received rental assistance from any organization within the last 12 months to be eligible for rental assistance

    Our form opens every Tuesday morning at 9 am. The form will be closed outside of that time, or once all our slots for that week are filled.

    How do I know if my application went through?

    If you get a screen that says, “You will be meeting with our HRS”, that means your application was received and you should expect a call, email, or text from us within 48 hours.

    Can I access monetary resources through Housing Problem Solving if I am currently homeless?

    No, Housing Problem Solving is only available to those who are currently in a home and at risk of losing their housing. If you are homeless, click here for available resources.

    Do I need to be there in person to apply?

    No, you do not need to be at Crossroads Church to apply. Applications are only available online.
