Make-A-Day has so many things to be thankful for every year: our staff, the guests we serve, and YOU! As a supporter of M.A.D., you make doing what we do to advocate for the unsheltered and impoverished easier than if we didn’t have your support. Join us and our guests for a Thanksgiving meal and celebrate what we’re thankful for.

Celebrate the people who have protected our country from enemies domestic and abroad. Unfortunately, many of them come home and aren’t taken care of how they should. Many of them end up experiencing homelessness. At this event, show them your love and appreciate for their sacrifices!

Caleb Cooperrider was the founder of Dude Charity and a staple of philanthropy in Columbus. Caleb was a dear friend to Make A Day and those we serve and we miss him dearly. Caleb’s legacy continues on through Dude Charity, his family and acts of kindness all over the Midwest in his name. Dude Charity started this golf outing and brought Make A Day on in 2019 and we are honored to keep it going in his namesake.

Help us honor the mother’s who may not get that special treatment due to their circumstances. We believe that ALL mothers, homeless mothers, foster mothers, mother’s whose child may no longer be here, and even mother’s with fur babies deserve to be celebrated.

Caleb Cooperrider was the founder of Dude Charity and was a dear friend of Make-A-Day. He used to host a Dude Charity golf outing in collaboration with Make-A-Day, and was a frequent fixture at Make-A-Day events. Tragically, a car accident took Caleb's life 2 years ago. In his honor, Make-A-Day took over the golf outing and renamed it the Make-A-Day Caleb B. Cooperrider Cup. The championship trophy is a beautiful carved piece made from wood from his family farm. Make-A-Day is honored to carry forth Caleb's name, and charitable work, with this important annual tradition.
